The police has evicted both Pyhäjoki’s camps and trashed all constructions inside them. Fear not, hardships are made to be temporary… The struggle continues! More info coming soon. (Suomeksi tässä)

English:

After a nonviolent human chain with lock-ons that blocked the traffic to the construction site… on April 28th around 3pm, riot cops and a police patrol with dogs started to approach the camp. We communicated clearly to the police with a megaphone that they are not welcome, and we don’t want to engage in conflict with them. The police didn’t say anything or answer any questions.

The police started to shoot people with a projectile/rubber bullet gun and the people at the camp defended themselves by throwing rocks. The police were clearly aiming for the activists heads, backs of heads and upper bodies with the gun. People got hit several times on the area of their upper bodies. As far as we know, not to their heads though… The police got hit several times with the rocks, and there was one police car burning up in flames at the area.

After a long struggle with delay tactics, the police managed to move ahead to the camp when the people who were defending the camp disappeared to the forest. In the camp the police shot projectiles towards the kitchen-collective people. The police evacuated all the people from the camp, and took some people into custody.

During the day cops arrested 35 people. Most of them are released by now. 9 people are kept in custody still and 4-6 of them are faced with threat of deportation. We will update situation soon.

We don’t accept giving into repression and police violence, and the struggle against Fennovoima will continue.

Now we’ll need everyone to help build up the camp again, and to continue the fight and actions against Fennovoima. We invite comrades to this fight wherever you are – let’s aim our actions towards the companies which are working with/for Fennovoima, the embassies of Finland, or the local police.

Dopo aver bloccato la strada conducente cantiere con una catena umana unita con blocchi il 28 Aprile, intorno alle 15 celere, polizia coi cani e unità speciali di polizia hanno proceduto verso il campeggio. Abbiamo comunicato col megafono chiaramente alla polizia che non sono i benvenuti, e che non volevamo iniziare uno scontro con loro. La polizia non ha commentato né fatto alcuna domanda.

La polizia ha iniziato a sparare proiettili di gomma e le persone del campeggio si sono difese lanciando sassi. La polizia ha chiaramente mirato coi fucili alla testa, alla schiena e alla parte superiore del corpo degli/lle attivisti/e. Le persone sono state colpite più volte sulla parte superiore del corpo. Da quanto ne sappiamo, non alla testa per nessuno… La polizia è stata colpita più volte dai sassi ed un furgone della polizia è stato dato alle fiamme vicino all’area del campeggio.

Dopo una lunga battaglia con tattiche di ritardo, la polizia è riuscita a entrare nel campo mentre le persone che stavano difendendo il campeggio sono fuggite tra la foresta. La polizia, nel campo, ha sparato proiettili di gomma alle persone del cucina collettiva. La polizia ha quindi evacuato l’area e preso alcune persone in custodia.

Durante la giornata gli sbirri hanno arrestato 35 persone. La maggior parte sono state rilasciate dalla stazione di polizia il giorno dopo (venerdì 29). 9 persone sono state dichiarate in arresto e 4 o 6 subiscono minaccie di deportazione. A presto aggiornamenti.

Non accettiamo di cedere alla repressione e violenza poliziesca e la lotta contro Fennovoima continua.

Ora abbiamo bisogno di tutt* per ricostruire il campeggio di nuovo, e per continuare la lotta contro Fennovoima. Invitiamo compagn* a combattere ovunque siano – puntiamo le nostre azioni verso le compagnie che stanno lavorando con/per Fennovoima, le ambasciate di Finlandia, o la polizia del luogo.

Deutsch:

Am 28. April näherte sich gegen 15 Uhr Bereitschaftspolizei und eine Polizeistreife mit Hunden dem Campgelände. Wir haben der Polizei mit einem Megaphon zu verstehen gegeben, dass sie nicht willkommen ist und dass wir uns nicht in einen Konflikt verwickeln lassen wollen. Die Polizei ging auf keine Fragen ein, sie sagte nichts.

Sie begann aber Leute mit einem Gewehr für Projektile / Gummigeschosse zu beschießen. Die Leute verteidigten sich, indem sie Steine warfen. Die Polizei zielte eindeutig auf die Köpfe (Hinterköpfe) und Oberkörper der AktivistInnen. Mehrmals gab es Treffer im Oberkörperbereich, So weit wir wissen, wurde niemand am Kopf getroffen. Die Polizei wurde mehrmals mit Steinen getroffen und ein Polizeiauto ging im Gebiet in Flammen auf.

Nach einem langen Kampf mit Verzögerungstaktik, schaffte es die Polizei schließlich auf das Campgelande. Die Personen, die das Camp verteidigten, tauchten im angrenzenden Wald unter. Im Camp schoss die Polizei Projektile auf die Leute des Küchenkollektivs. Diejenigen, die sich noch auf dem Camp aufhielten wurden geräumt und einige von ihnen landeten in Gewahrsam.

Die Polizei hat auch angedroht ein anderes Camp zu räumen, das noch von uns genutzt wird.

Wir werden der Repression und der Polizeigewalt nicht nachgeben und der Kampf gegen Fennovoima wird fortgesetzt. Jetzt brauchen wir euch, um das Camp wieder aufzubauen und den Widerstand und Aktionen gegen Fennovoima fortzuführen. Wir laden GefährtInnen hierzu ein, wo immer sie sind – lasst uns unsere Aktionen gegen die Unternehmen, die mit oder für Fennovoima arbeiten, gegen die finnischen Botschaften in eurer Nähe oder gegen die örtliche Polizei richten.

Rippumatta siitä, onko Pyhäjoen ydinvoimavastaisen yleisrintaman tapahtumia seurannut viime päivät vaihtelevista verkkolähteistä vai paikan päältä, tapahtumien hektisyys lienee käynyt yhtä selväksi. Kaiken hektisen hälinän keskellä oman verkkoraportoinnin ja muun 21.vuosisadan verkkokommunikaation ylläpito on – luonnollisesti – koko lailla olympiatason haaste. Vaan pelko pois! Tuota pikaa verkkovelhomme saanevat tassunsa irti konkreettisemmista uudelleenjärjestäytymis- ja etäaputoimista, saaden työstettäväkseen tutumman työtilan: näppäimistön. Sitä ennen viihdytämme aina skandaalinnälkäistä internetiä lainaamalla toisaalta internetin ihmemaasta löytynyttä tapahtumakuvausta sekä toimintamanuaalia. Tapahtuma- tai toimintaviikkohan on vähän kuin taideteos: jokainen käyttäjä luo oman kokemuksensa, eikä sitä muiden sovi kiistää. Menkööt siis, yhden kokemuksen ja reaktion kuvauksena.

Internetin ihmemaasta:
”28.4. noin klo 15.00 mellakkavarusteisia poliiseja ja koirapartio alkoivat lähestyä leiriä. Poliiseille kommunikoitiin selvästi megafonilla, että he eivät ole tervetulleita leiriin ja emme halua konfliktia. Poliisi ei sanonut mitään eikä vastannut kysymyksiin.

Poliisi alkoi ampua ihmisiä projektiili-/kumiluotiaseella ja ihmiset puolustautuivat kiviä heittämällä.

Projektiiliaseella tähdättiin selvästi kohti aktivistien päitä, niskaa ja ylävartaloja. Ihmiset saivat useita osumia ylävartaloonsa, tiettävästi ei kuitenkaan päähän. Poliisit saivat useita osumia kivistä ja alueella paloi yksi poliisiauto.

Pitkän viivytystaistelun jälkeen poliisi pääsi etenemään leiriin asti, jolloin leiriä puolustaneet ihmiset hävisivät metsään. Leirissä poliisi ampui projektiileja muun muassa paikalla ollutta keittiöryhmää kohti. Poliisi tyhjensi leirin ihmisistä ja teki joitakin kiinniottoja.

Emme suostu taipumaan repression ja poliisiväkivallan edessä ja taistelu Fennovoimaa vastaan tulee jatkumaan. Nyt tarvitsemme kaikki auttamaan leirin uudelleen rakentamisessa ja Fennovoiman vastaisen toiminnan jatkamisessa. Kutsumme tovereita mukaan taisteluun missä ikinä olettekin kohdistamalla toimia Fennovoimaan kytköksissä olevia yrityksiä, Suomen lähetystöja tai paikallista poliisianne vastaan.”

-Poliisi otti eilen yhteensä kiinni 35 henkilöä, suurin osa otettiin kiinni Fennovoimantiellä olleesta rauhanomaisesta blokkauksesta. Ainoastaan muutama henkilö kiinniotettiin leiristä poliisin tunkeutuessa sinne.

-Leiriläisiä vapautetaan juuri nyt putkasta, iso osa jo vapaalla.
